New ASAM Criteria Resources

We've taken the most widely used and comprehensive set of guidelines for the placement and planning of individuals with addictive disorders (the ASAM PPC-2R) and created a suite of Interactive Journals and eLearning courses designed to enhance implementation and collaboration.

Service providers will find that these resources combine the assessment, service planning and treatment guidelines of the ASAM Criteria with the evidence-based materials of The Change Companies® to create effective solutions for guiding behavior change.

Understanding the Dimensions of Change
This Interactive Journal is an effective resource for guiding individualized service planning through the treatment and continuing care process. Treatment team and participant work together to identify and set goals targeted to specific dimensional needs and later reevaluate progress, allowing the participant to expand on and adjust goals.

Use the chart on the left for cross referencing which Interactive Journals match best with a particular ASAM Dimension.

The primary dimensional focus of each Journal is indicated by the dark blue boxes. Secondary dimensional subjects for each Journal are indicated by the yellow boxes.

For example, the "Getting Started" Journal primarily supports Dimension 4, Readiness to Change, while it secondarily covers Dimensions 3, 5 and 6.
