Sherry’s too healthy

Aging Friday

My wife, Sherry, is really starting to bug me about her physical fitness.

She found this personal trainer named Johnny who has tattoos on both arms and I don’t know where else. He’s really fit and handsome. He also has a great sense of humor and is very smart. His whole package bothers me.

This is in addition to Sherry’s Pilates instructor, Sarah, who puts Sherry’s body in positions and shapes that look unnatural. She bends in ways that go against my understanding of human anatomy. My guess is some exercises may even be prohibited by law in certain states.

The bottom line is that Sherry is looking great and having too much fun staying in perfect shape for a woman in her seventies. I believe in life balance, which includes a certain percentage of belly fat.

This battle is not over. It’s the season of gluttony, after all. I’ll keep you posted.
