Best friends

Here’s a fun and rewarding exercise I played a few nights ago when I couldn’t go to sleep (probably too many tacos). I brought to mind three close friends and thought about what makes them so darn spectacular.

I had fun doing it. There were several qualities all three had in common, such as they all listen to me, let me know when I’m a little nuts and recognize when I’m on my game.

They each have special qualities, too. One has a fabulous sense of humor, rarely using sarcasm.

Another is full of practical knowledge she can transport to me in a manner I understand.

The third has an exceptional sense of spirituality, a quality that comes and goes with me. I want to get better at this.

I’m blessed with these three friends. After that thought, I fell right asleep.
