Switching from Stress

Talking about things like stress can be helpful, but talking about negative events and feelings can also prevent you from getting over those feelings. Constantly discussing negative things can solidify behavior patterns that keep stress levels high and happiness levels low. Choosing to focus on less stressful events may help you move away from stress.

This week, I will consider how my conversations impact my emotions. I will consider when talking about stress is helpful and harmful to my well-being.
