Stress is caused by a variety of things in our lives. Taking a stand can help ease your stress in many cases. If you are passive around others and do not let them know what you think, this can increase the stress in your life. Letting others know how you feel and what you think can increase your sense of self-efficacy and control over the things in your life. Being assertive can lead you to feel less stressed in your everyday life.
This week, I will consider moments when I can be assertive in order to lower my stress levels.
