Sometimes people are more committed to an activity if they are doing it with someone else. Especially in the early stages, having a friend or family member join you while exercising can make it more fun and can help you stay engaged. It doesn't have to be strenuous; for example, committing to a walk three times per week is a great start. Plus, a little friendly competition can act as a positive motivator!
This week, I will consider working out with a friend. I will look forward to the benefits of exercising together.
