Stress is a part of life. Sometimes things become more stressful when we try to control more than we need or are able to. Recognizing that some things are out of your control can help you feel less stress. Instead of focusing energy on trying to change things you cannot, looking at what you can do can help you relax. Giving up some control can help you eliminate unnecessary stress. Asking for help doesn't hurt, either!
This week, I will think about accepting what I cannot control and focusing on what I can do.
