Large amounts of stress generally do not make people feel happy. One activity that can help improve mood and health when stressed is laughing. Taking time to laugh heartily with others can reduce feelings of stress, help improve mood and promote physical health. Laughter can be produced voluntarily, and this often leads to more spontaneous laughter. Laughing with friends can also increase bonding and strengthen relationships.
