Sometimes we are harder on others than we are on ourselves. Studies in psychology show that people sometimes judge others more harshly, and assume their actions are a reflection of who they are as people. The old saying, take a walk in someone else's shoes, can help you understand a bit more about why other people act the way they do. When interacting with those around you, a little forgiveness can go a long way. This week, I will think about the situational factors that influence choices others make.
