Finding Fermentation

Fermented foods are a fun way to explore new flavors and textures, and you can make many fermented foods yourself at home! Fermented foods such as yogurt and kombucha are probiotics: foods that add to the biotic communities inside our digestive systems. Making your own fermented foods, or sampling food from different types of fermentation, can be a fun way to experiment with and learn more about the food you eat!

This week, I will think about exploring my foods by finding fermented options.
