Whether partnered or single, living alone or with others, everyone gets lonely from time to time. When feeling lonely you can turn to the four Ps to lift your spirits: pets, plants, people and projects. Investing time into one or more of these categories can help direct your focus away from yourself and gain the feeling of connectedness that comes from giving your time and energy to someone or something else. This helps you feel less lonely.
This week, I will consider investing in the four Ps when feeling lonely.
