We sometimes feel as if our messages aren't getting through to people. Others may misunderstand or misinterpret what is being said. You can help by rephrasing messages to communicate what you DO want, rather than what you DON'T want. Using positive phrasing like, "Please buy milk after work" can be more effective than saying, "don't forget to buy milk." Positive messages can increase positive responses from others.
This week, I will consider rephrasing my message to communicate what I DO want.
