Fruit: Eat It, Don't Drink It

We tend to think of fruit and its juice as a good thing, a healthy alternative to soda, chock full of awesomeness: fiber, vitamins and minerals. Unfortunately, most of these benefits are lost when you only drink the pressed juice, which has nearly as much sugar as soda. Of course, it’s ok to indulge in a glass once in a while as a treat, but if you’re watching your sugar intake, maybe skip the juice and just eat the fruit.

This week, I will consider eating a piece of fruit instead of drinking a glass of juice.
