If you are trying to maintain a diet or an exercise program, the holidays can prove challenging. The good news is, a mistake doesn't have to send you cascading down a slippery slope. Think of it more as a sticky slope where a single lapse forgivingly doesn't mean an absolute relapse. That would be like throwing your cell phone on the ground and smashing it to bits with a hammer just because you got a little crack in the screen.
