Have you ever tried to bite your own teeth, or maybe gaze into your own eyes without a mirror? Impossible, right? Attempting to control emotions can feel the same way, a classic catch-22. Try creating a toolkit of mindful habits and tricks that help you see emotions objectively. Remember, emotions don't last forever. If you're experiencing a negative emotion, remind yourself that it, like all emotions, comes and goes like ocean waves.
