Fitness first, image never

Fitness magazines filled with ripped and toned models, mirrors slapped all over the gym walls and exercise DVDs with scantily clad trainers barking veiled put-downs. These popular methods contribute to a faulty perception of exercise and fitness based on image, not health. Instead, find a source of motivation that inspires you to be and feel your best in that given moment. At the heart of it, fitness is willingness and wellness, not appearance. 

This week, I will focus on how fitness feels, not how it looks.
